Majoring

We believe that the certificate option offers students an excellent way to combine training in a discipline with an interdisciplinary focus on Jewish studies.

For those who want to concentrate in Jewish studies at the level of a major, one option is to major in religious studies and focus their work around Judaism and Jewish history.

Another option is the School of Arts and Sciences interdisciplinary studies (self-designed) major.

Students may find opportunities to focus their studies on Jewish history or culture through other departmental majors as well.

For all of these options, consult with the director of the program and with the departmental advisor in the appropriate discipline.
