Lecture by Hadar Galron
Hadar Galron, born and educated in Jewish Orthodox society, intertwines her personal story with those of some of her writings for the theatre and cinema. In this lecture the emphasis will be on womanhood: the image, concept and “aims” of the female body from the moment of birth as portrayed in “Halacha,” or Jewish law. Galron will share how, as part of her own personal growth, she transformed these concepts into drama that demands change.
