Graduate Students

The Jewish Studies Program does not offer an MA or PhD in Jewish Studies. However, many opportunities for graduate study focused on Jewish history or culture exist at the University of Pittsburgh through various graduate degree-offering departments, such as History, English, and Hispanic Languages & Literatures.  If you are interested in pursuing graduate study with any of our faculty, please consult the website of that faculty member's department for information about their graduate program.  Feel free to also get in touch with our faculty directly to discuss your interests.

The Jewish studies program also offers generous grants to support graduate research. If you are a University of Pittsburgh graduate student conducting research related to Jewish studies, we encourage you to apply.
